Knowledge Transfer
Built Around Your Actual Team
Generic YouTube tutorials won't teach your volunteer team how to run your specific room. We train on your console, your lighting board, your camera setup — then leave a written runbook tailored to your system.
Every install we do includes volunteer training. You can also bring us in for training on an existing system.

Frequently Asked
Common Questions About Volunteer AVL Training
How long is a typical training session?
Most sessions run 3–4 hours per discipline (audio, video, or lighting). A full-day workshop for a new tech team runs 6–8 hours and covers all three plus signal flow basics. We tailor the depth to your team's experience level.
Can you train new volunteers after our team turns over?
Yes — that's one of the most common reasons churches book us. Volunteer turnover means the next person inherits a system nobody documented. We retrain on the system that's actually installed, not generic theory.
Do you cover audio, video, AND lighting in one session?
We can. Most teams want it split: audio one Saturday, video another, lighting a third. Splitting lets each volunteer specialize without information overload. A combined session works for cross-trained leads who need to back each other up.
Will there be a written runbook our team can reference?
Yes. Every training package includes a printed and PDF runbook covering startup, presets, common issues, and an emergency reset procedure. Volunteers can hand it to whoever comes next.
