Why online prices range from $5,000 to $100,000 for the "same" wall
Both numbers are real — they describe different things. The low figures are factory-direct hardware quotes: panels and a processor, shipped. An installed church system is that hardware plus everything that turns it into a wall your team uses on Sunday.
The other half of the gap is fit. The cheapest quotes are for stock configurations — a standard cabinet count at a common pitch like P3.9 — because that's what ships cheapest, not what suits your room. A wall built from stock sizes tends to land wrong: too wide for the stage wall, too short to read from the back, or too coarse for a front row sitting fifteen feet away. Sizing the wall to your actual room and seating is design work, and it's the difference between a screen that fits the space and one you live with.

Published US integrator rates run roughly $155–$420 per square foot, and national installers publish $500 and up at comparable pitches. The installed bands, cost split, and worked examples come from Tech in Church's own scoped proposals and completed installs across Ohio (2025–2026) plus current supplier pricing — not from a catalog. The market figures are our August 2026 survey of more than fifteen publicly published US price pages spanning national integrators, event rental houses, and factory-direct manufacturers; we report the ranges we found rather than any single company's numbers. We refresh these figures quarterly — the Last updated date at the top reflects the current revision.

Hardware carries most of the budget; labor, commissioning, and training about a third; freight the rest. Quotes are fixed-fee and itemized, so your board sees every line.
30% at signing · 40% at delivery · 30% at commissioning. No full payment up front — the last third is due only when the wall is calibrated and your team is trained. Larger projects phase across budget cycles as separately signed tranches, and payment plans or third-party financing options are available on larger projects. Tax-exempt status accepted with a valid certificate.
The six factors that decide your price
1. Pixel pitch & viewing distance
Your front row sets the pitch worth paying for — a 28-ft first row is fully served by 3.9mm. Finer pitch there buys resolution nobody can see.
2. Wall size
Processor, freight, and crew cost about the same at 10 ft or 20 ft — small walls carry those fixed costs on fewer square feet.
3. Brightness & room light
500-nit panels suit most sanctuaries. Skylights or windows that can't black out need 1,000 nits or brighter — and brighter costs more.
4. Mounting
Wall-mounted is the baseline. A ground-support frame adds roughly $1,000–$1,500; heavy walls may need a structural engineer's review, billed at cost.
5. Power
Dedicated circuits are specified in the design. Installing new ones is licensed electrician work, itemized separately — zero if your power is adequate.
6. Labor & commissioning
A crew of 3–5 works 2–4 days on site around your services — then commissions, calibrates, and trains your team before handoff.

If an item on the right applies to your room, it belongs in the quote — itemized, before you sign. A quote that goes quiet about electrical or structural work isn't cheaper; it's incomplete.
Warranty and support after install
What "supported" means past day 30 — the part most quotes leave vague:
- Panel warranty: every wall carries a manufacturer warranty, and its exact term is stated in your proposal. Whoever you buy from — insist on the warranty term in writing before you sign.
- Module-level service: LED walls are repaired module by module, not replaced whole. We keep spare modules with every install, so a failed section is a swap, not a shipping saga.
- First 30 days: post-install fixes are included in the project price.
- After that: on-call service at $150/hr plus parts (1-hour minimum) — and true emergencies are 1.5× that rate, never 2×.
Renting vs. buying
Across the US, full-service LED wall rentals run roughly $40–$70 per square foot per day with published minimums of $3,000–$3,500 — typically $3,500–$6,000 for a one-day event on a mid-size wall. Our all-in day rates by size:
